Dear Parishioners,

My name is Pam Barnett. Father Rich asked my husband and I to start

a vocation group here at St. Albert’s.

I attended a daylong retreat/class on religious vocations. In this class it

was emphasized why it is so important for lay people to get more involved.

Our group is now forming and we are looking for you to get involved.

Before you will say yes, please pray and ask God if you should join our

new and exciting vocation group.

Please call the rectory or drop a note in the collection box with your

name, phone number and address to my attention – Pam Barnett or my

husband – Vic Barnett. Please write; “New Member for the Vocation

Prayer Group”

Our new Vocation Prayer Group asks all parishioners to pray for vocations

to the religious life during the Vocations Week starting the week of

the Baptism of the Lord, January 9, 2011.

May 15, 2011 we celebrated 48^th World Day do Prayer for Vocations. Our new Vocation Prayer Group thought that this would be a great time to start our new Parish Vocation Cross Program.

We invite you to host our Traveling Crucifix at your home. Each Sunday we will give the Crucifix to a different family or individual. You will pray during that week at the home for new vocations to the priesthood. All material will be included with the packets: English, Polish and Spanish.  

With great honor Vic and Pam Barnett will be using their very special Crucifix purchased in Medjugorje and blessed during apparition by a priest. For one year we will all pray for an increase in Vocations from St. Albert’s. Let’s see what the Lord can do. Would you be able to host Our Crucifix in your home sometime in the next year? If so, just fill in your name and phone number at the back of the church. Invite family and friends over to pray with you. Please return Cross to the Parish office Saturday before 5:00 pm Mass.

The sacrifice on your part will be who pray for an increase in Vocations.

15 maja obchodziliśmy 48-my Światowy Dzień Modlitwy o Powołania. Nasza nowa grupa modlitewna rozpoczeła specialny program „Wędrującego Krzyża”.

Zapraszamy wszystkich parafian i gości do wzięcia udziału w tym specialnym porgramie. W każdą niedziele podczas Mszy Świętej Krzyż będzie przekazywany rodzinie, która będzie zabierać go do swojego domu i będzie  modlić się przez cały tydzień o powołania kapłańskie. Wszystkie informacje będą umieszczone w specialnej teczce i przekazywane danej rodzinie. Materiały są dostępne w języku polskim, hiszpańskim oraz angielkim.

Dzięki hojności Vic oraz Pam Barnett będziemy używać Krzyża który został przez nich zakupiony w Medjugorje oraz poświęcony przez księdza podczas Objawienia Matki Bożej.

Zainteresowane osoby prosimy o zapisywanie się do specialnej książki która jest umieszczona w Kaplicy Matki Bożej.

Módlmy się o powołania kapłańskie oraz zakonne aby nie zabrakło nam szafarzy, którzy głoszą Dobrą Nowinnę o Jezusie Chrystusie naszym Dobrym Pasterzu.

Bardzo prosimy o zwrot Krzyża do kancelerii w sobotę przed Mszą Święta o godz. 5:00 wieczorem.
